A beautifully designed Brasserie with attention to detail. We both had a wonderful three course meal along with a bottle of the house wine, which was a very tasty Sauvignon Blanc. We could have chosen any of the plates on any of the courses as the choice was superb. We both loved the atmosphere of the Brasserie and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Had an excellent early supper at Les Amis last week with business colleagues. Interesting menu very well cooked and presented. Very helpful and friendly staff. Most enjoyable all round.

I’ve been here several times now for both lunch and dinner and the food is excellent and the staff are lovely. It was particularly nice chatting to Peter the co-owner. The restaurant is very modern and relaxed. The house wine is brilliant value for money and the bread is delicious. I loved how the staff appear with it and water as soon as you’re seated. In far too many places you have to ask. It’s rapidly becoming my new favourite French restaurant. Will be returning very shortly.

“Popped out for a mid week treat and wandered here. The menu is short but sweet and the food well prepared and very tasty. For £25 for a 3 course meal of this quality, it was fabby. Will definitely be back.”

“On a miserable wet evening we decided to give this place a try and we were not disappointed. We were given the set menu only when we arrived but the choices on it were very appealing. Getting a steak to cut with a normal knife exudes confidence and this one was superb as was my fish.”

“We could not fault any of the dishes. Steak can be so over-rated but the rib-eye was beautiful! So were the gorgeous garlic escargot. The restaurant was also really well fitted out and had comfortable chairs and lovely wines glasses.”

“Would highly recommend, fantastic place, really reasonable at £24.95 for three courses and we had beautiful fillet of beef for a main course, lovely wines and great service, my new favourite restaurant”

“Welcoming restaurant. It is bright and feels spacious. The staff seemed to enjoy their work giving a very pleasant atmosphere. Food was well presented and steak cooked to perfection, and rabbit leg delicious. We were even tempted to enjoy desert and the cheese board was very good”
